Trade · Diaspora retail

Your customers already know this drink.

If you run an African grocery, a Caribbean shop, a halal supermarket, or a specialty international store, your customers grew up on palm wine. They call it matango, emu, toddy, cacheo. Now you can stock it — fresh, frozen, ready for the freezer — and put it on the shelf where it has belonged for a thousand years.

001 — Why your shop

A drink your customers have been waiting for.

Most diaspora groceries already stock a palm wine product of some kind — a pasteurized version, a long-life can, something that approximates the memory. Tachet is the first product that delivers the real thing. Frozen at -18°C from the moment it leaves the tap. Stabilized without heat. Without preservatives. Without compromise.

For a customer who left home thirty years ago, this is not a new drink. It is the drink they remember. We made it travel.

  • 01 Cultural recognition. Cameroonian, Nigerian, Ghanaian, Ivorian, Congolese, Trinidadian, Haitian, Dominican, Jamaican, Sri Lankan, South Indian customers — all already know this drink.
  • 02 Younger crossover. Second and third-generation diaspora customers buy Tachet for the heritage. Wellness-curious customers buy it for the potassium, the clean label, the alcohol-free Zero.
  • 03 Higher basket sizes. Tachet is premium-priced. Customers buying Tachet are also buying their weekly groceries from you. The bottle anchors the basket.
  • 04 Made by people from home. Tachet is bottled in Buea, Cameroon, by Cameroonian tappers and a Cameroonian processing team. Your customers will recognize that. It matters.
002 — What stockists get

Everything you need to sell it well.

i.

Free starter pack

First order ships with a free starter pack: A2 freezer poster, freezer decals, shelf-talkers, sampling cups, and a printed factsheet for staff. Nothing to buy on top of stock.

ii.

Photography & social kit

High-resolution product imagery, lifestyle photos, and short-form video ready to post. Your social channels look like a brand campaign.

iii.

Stockist locator

Your shop name, address, and a link appear on palmjuice.org's stockist locator. Customers searching for Tachet will find you, often before they find anyone else.

iv.

Sampling support

For grand opening or relaunch, we send a sampling pack — cups, ice bucket lining, decals, and where logistics allow, a brand ambassador for a Saturday afternoon.

v.

WhatsApp account line

Direct line to your account manager. Reorder by message. Ask questions. Get answers within a working day. No portal you have to learn.

vi.

Small first orders welcome

Start with one case if that's what fits your freezer. We would rather you start small and reorder than overstock and discount. The relationship matters more than the opening invoice.

003 — Logistics

Simple to stock and sell.

Tachet arrives at your shop frozen at -18°C. Put it straight into your existing freezer. Display the bottles standing in the freezer chest, or in a dedicated upright if you have one. Customers take them home frozen, thaw in their fridge, drink within thirty days. That is the whole operation.

  • i. Minimum first order. One case (24×450ml or 12×900ml). Smaller minimums available for first-time stockists by request.
  • ii. Cold-chain delivery. Frozen delivery to your shop door. Most major diaspora-served cities covered. Pickup options available in select hubs.
  • iii. Freezer space. Stackable cases, low footprint. One case fits comfortably in most chest freezers without displacing existing stock.
  • iv. Customer guidance. Each bottle is labelled with clear thaw and storage instructions in English, French, and where possible local languages. Your team does not need to explain.
  • v. Reorder by WhatsApp. Send a message. We confirm and ship. Most reorders ship within 48 hours.
